DIGITARCH is the summer school of the University of Bologna, in collaboration with the Civic Museums of Modena and Reggio Emilia, designed for those who work or want to work in the cultural sector, with a role as curator of digital collections and a special focus on tangible and intangible archaeological heritage, from excavation to museum display. A focus that from this year is also on the use of Wikimedia projects and OpenStreetMap. In fact, in 2023 the programme of DIGITARCH lessons will also include specific courses on the use of Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata for the digitisation of museum collections, curated by Wikimedia Italia.
