Testo (in inglese)

To Whom It May Concern:

It is our great pleasure to accept the invitation to provide support to the project "In the HEART of ITaly: The ARTistic HEritage of Central Apennines Surviving the EARTquakes (12th-16th century)".

The aims of this project perfectly complement the work of the Wikimedia community, which is to provide free and open knowledge using free licenses, and in particular to Wikimedia Italia efforts to make available to everyone data and informations about the cultural heritage of Italy.

Wikidata, the most important data branch of the Wikimedia platforms, is the web's main Linked Open Data store with many terabytes of data.

Its dataset is structured as a store of more than 113 million entities (nodes) connected by thousands of properties (edges).

All data is stored redundantly in multiple secure locations and served by Wikimedia Foundation.

Wikidata provides multiple APIs for deployment in customized scenarios including real-time querying and graph visualizations.

Those data can be freely shared and, where appropriate, combined to enhance the output, technical development and research value of the HEART.IT project.
