Wikimedia Italia is the Italian chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc and it has been founded on June 17th, 2005.
It is the Italian association that cares for the promotion and the diffusion of Wikipedia, the free encyclopaedia, and of the other projects related to Wikimedia.
Why do support us?
- We believe that to grant a free knowledge, available to everyone, is a possible goal and a real and positive challenge.
- Wikimedia Italia works to spread the free knowledge and to support the Wikimedia projects, as carriers and generators of free knowledge.
- The association, as the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc, is financed by the subscription fees of the subscribers and by the donations.

Year 2007 subscription
How to subscribe
The actual subscription fee is €25,00. In order to join you have to compile this module and send it together with a photocopy of a valid identity document. The fee can be payed with a money transfer to the bank account of the Association.
It is possible to send money with:

- PayPal to the account info@wikimedia.it.
- PostePay
