Hello,

I'm a member of Wikimedia Italia, the Italian chapter of the Wikimedia
Foundation and I'm interested in your platform. I want to bring it to the
attention of the board of my chapter, to empower our members and volunteers
with a powerful tool to spread Free Knowledge.

I'm contacting you because I noticed that Reveal.js is libre software - 
that is amazing - but I discovered that Slides.com actually requires 
proprietary JavaScript to be executed client-side, like Google Analytics.

I have some questions for you: can you give us an estimate on the costs to
liberate Slides.com platform (e.g. avoiding Google Analytics and adopting
Matomo, and being compliant with the LibreJS initiative) in EUR?

Also, can Wikimedia Italia support Slides.com in any way to boost this 
task? (We have knowledge of the LibreJS standard and in Matomo).

I believe Reveal.js has a lot of potential and I would sincerely like 
to propose it to the board of Wikimedia Italia and make sure it matches 
their requirements through your editing platform. Also note this could pave
the way for adoption for other Wikimedia chapters.
